Synopsis

The action of the play passes in the kitchen of an old farmhouse in a remote part of Cornwall. Time - the present.

Act 1   A morning in early spring
Act 2 Sc 1 A Summer afternoon - three months later
INTERVAL OF FIFTEEN MINUTES

Act 2

Sc 2 Evening a week later
Act 3   The following morning

Those in the image above, based on Clive Holland's Recollection:

Bev Wright would be slumped on the chair
Far right would be Jill Preston
And June Weaver is kneeling
Nigel Bailey behind June
Barbara Bonham behind the slumped Bev
Then continuing to the left of Barbara is Peter Burch & that leaves Elizabeth Howard on the far left.

This set required a working water pump and central heating being gradually installed as the play progressed.

Chaos! I remember that Bev's last line was "this is the only house with hot water flushing toilet".
